Robert M. Sackett, Senior Managing Director
Robert M. Sackett, has joined TradeStation Prime Services as Senior Managing Director after spending the last 17 years at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. At Citigroup, Rob headed the sales trading and the trading desk of the Securities Lending specials group. Rob’s broad array of clients included retail, institutional, and hedge fund customers. Rob will co-run Prime Services, where he will be head of business development, responsible for building out the division’s offering. Rob has an undergraduate degree from Lehigh University and an MBA from the New York University’s Stern School of Business. Rob holds FINRA series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
George C. Roeser, Director Sales Support
George Roeser has joined TradeStation Prime Services as Director Sales Support. Mr. Roeser was Managing Director and Co-Founder of Knollwood Capital, a startup hedge fund. He has been involved in all phases of the development of Knollwood Capital since its founding in 2008. Mr. Roeser began his career at Bear Stearns, serving as a trading assistant supporting stock specialists from 1981 until 1985. He then held various positions at Bear - Hunter, Inc., J. Streicher and Co., LLC, LaBranche and Co., LLC and Merrill Lynch. Throughout his 25 years in the financial industry, Mr. Roeser has gained the experience of a seasoned option specialist and financial advisor with a diverse level of managerial experience and exceptional analytical and organizational abilities. Mr. Roeser attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, NY Institute of Finance and FDU’s College of Financial Planning.
Robert A. Marietta, Vice President of Client Relations and Sales
Robert A. Marietta joined TradeStation Prime Services in October 2009 and is responsible for all client servicing and operations, in addition to marketing TradeStation’s prime brokerage business. Prior to joining TradeStation, he spent 10 years at UBS Prime Brokerage Client Services, most recently in the role of Director. Bob also held senior positions at J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc. and Sanford C. Bernstein, and has over 20 years of industry experience. He is a graduate of Fordham University and holds the FINRA series 7, 8, 10, 24 and 63 licenses.
